LO4 Editing Photographs 1

The first step I took was to place the other image over the existing one and change the opacity to 60% so both images are visible and they start to merge. You can already see the landscape lining up with the details on the models face.
The effect on the landscape image was changed from normal to linear light to make the effects much more visible. This effect creates much more contrast and the landscape has much more of an effect on the models face, such as the shadows cast by the trees are appearing over the contours of the face. Also the fur from the hood is starting to merge with the soil and create an interesting texture.

In this editing screen shot I changed the vibrancy of the image, I increased the vibrancy to 80 to make the details of the face more vibrant and stand out more. This makes the blending between the face and the landscape much more prominent and it has also brightened up the image, making the contrast more noticeable.

In this last image I used the healing spot tool to blend the outline of the fur hood and the models hood, I felt as though there was too much of a divide between the two. The healing brush tool smoothed out the line between the two and blended them together.
