LO4 Editing Photographs 5

I started off editing the image by using the magnetic lasso tool to select around the model.

In this editing shot I have changed the vibrancy and saturation of the model, to make them stand out more. I changed the vibrancy to 90+ and the saturation to 20+. These specific settings creating contrast between the soon to be monochrome background and the vibrant and colourful model.

In this editing shot, I used the magnetic lasso tool to select the model, I then went to select and inverse so I was selecting the background. I then put a monochrome filter over it so it was black and white. I then changed the brightness and contrast settings to make the background darker and more harsh. I changed the brightness to 10+ and the contrast to 100+, this was to enhance the contrast between the model and the monochrome background.
