The first thing I did when editing this image was place the image of the path landscape over that of the peace gardens photograph, I then tried to line up the outline of the path with the outline of the seating area; I did this by enlarging the landscape image and moving it around to make it loosely fit. I then changed the opacity to 60%.
In the second screen shot used the spot healing brush tool and clicked on the first layer, I then proceeded to brush over the to people walking past in the shot. Removing these people helped enhance the narrative of the photograph and also they were not needed and I didn't have permission from them.
As in the other edited image I have used the linear light effect to make the contrasting between the two images that much more noticeable. It makes the water from the fountain and the trees stand out from each other, as well as making the texture of the soil more visible. It also makes the landscape more vibrant and colourful.
I then used the magnetic lasso tool to select the models area (on the landscape layer) I then deleted this to get rid of the image over the model making the model stand out more. Even though the rest of the image is visually interesting it makes the model the focal point of the photograph.
